I've been busy revising but wanted to check-in with you! How are you all?
So. I watched the first season of THE VOICE, not sure if you've seen it. It started out really fun and stayed decent. There were a lot of performances that stood out for me. But this duet was one of my favorites. So I wanted to share it with you.
I LOVE that song. Always have. What do you think? If only I could sing like that... ah, one can dream.
Oh, if you want to see more of me. I know. Why would you? Ha. I also posted over on the DNAwriters blog today. And did a Vlog on character goals if you want to see what I look like... and see me playing mediocre guitar.

This is a great tune and I must admit a pretty cool duet. Stevie rocks and I saw her sing this on a vid clip with Natalie Maines from Dixie Chicks.
I have not seen The Voice as I normally don't watch the talent competitions, though I do watch Project Runway and America's Best Dance Crew.

Oh man, I love that song! Can't listen to this version at the moment because I've got hubs and our little bean sleeping beside me, but I'll have to check it later. I wonder if it's a version I've heard before.
On the same note, I'll have to watch your vlog later too. Maybe I can dig up some ear plugs. Or go into another room. That's the non-lazy person option. Ha!

Not being able to sing is one my eternal laments. I can carry a decent tune on most occasions, but I have zero range. How great would it be to have your notes soar up there with the stars? Ah well, I probably shouldn't complain. At least, I don't make the dog howl. ;)

I used to be able to sing. I was in show choir and even in choir in college but, sadly my voice has not been trained in years, so... it's just okay these days.
