Long time no talk ;o) So... Erica, what have you been doing? I'm so glad you asked. I've been revising and reading. Oh and I got a shiny new guitar that I'm beginning to practice on. Still quite the noob, but will be taking lessons soon ;o)
I've sure missed you guys! What have you been up to? I'll try to get back to a more regular posting schedule, summer is very hard to keep up with. Ya know? Golf, beach, work, BBQ's... the normal summer stuff.
I've read some great books since blogging last. BEAUTIFUL CREATURES, by Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl. PERFECT CHEMISTRY by Simone Elkeles, LOOKING FOR ALASKA by John Green. All were excellent.
I'm currently reading LINGER by Maggie Stiefvater. I've been waiting for this one for a while!
I also saw SHUTTER ISLAND and loved it. Wow. I now have the book on hold at the library.
I received the penmanship meme eons ago from the wonderful Medeia Sharif over at Medeia Sharif, YA Author Check out her blog, trust, it's as awesome as she is ;o) Basically, I have to write out the following items then post the paper with my handwriting *bites nails*
Here we go!
1. Name/Blog Name.
2. Right handed, left handed or both?
3. Favorite letters to write?
4. Least favorite letters to write?
5. Write: The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.
6. Write in caps:
CRAB
HUMOR
KALEIDOSCOPE
PAJAMAS
GAZILLION
7. Favorite song lyrics?
8. Tag 7 people.
9. Any special note or drawing?
You can click on the pic to make it larger. I'm not sure you want to, my handwriting is hit! Seriously, this is why I use a computer. But, in the interest of sharing, I'm letting you see it...
Feel free to copy this meme on your own blog ;o)
Well, I hope you are all enjoying your summer. Don't forget to register for the fab online writer's conference writeoncon!

Ooh, funky! :D
Your writing is way more readable than mine. ;)
Think I'll give this one a go... :)
Adam
PS - We missed ya!
Adam - Funky indeed!! LOL. Well that's good to know. Yeah! I'd love to see it. Aww, I've missed you too!
I was beginning to wonder what happened to you, nice to see you back! :-)
Here I thought you were going to make me feel better about my scribbling...but no. LOL Mine is barely legible after the first line or to. Yours is positively cute comparatively. ;-)
Welcome back to the blogosphere!
hehe so awesome! love it!
AND IT'S SO GOOD TO HAVE YOU BACK!!
CR - Sorry to ditch for so long. Won't happen again, even if I just pop in to say what's up! ;o) Missed you!
Jamie - LOL I've seen yours; it's just fine! It's nice to be back. I missed you guys!
Tahereh - Thanks! Aww, you guys flatter me so ;o) I missed ya!
THis is awesome! I'm totally doing this tomorrow (assuming I can get the picture on my computer).
Welcome back! I have Perfect Chemistry on my TBR list. Just finished Boy Toy which was REALLY good.
Mel - Oh yay! Can't wait to see it ;o) Thank you! It's so good to be back. I missed ya ;o) I really loved Perfect Chemistry, I bought the sequel and one of her other ones. She's really a great writer!
Wow. Your handwriting is way neater than mine. Mine's sloppy but legible.

There's mine! ;)
Adam
I always love it when I come across handwriting I can read. Mine is fairly atrocious, and I get so tired of looking at it. Even I can't read what I've written half the time.
But, DUDE! What's wrong with Q?? I love that letter. It's probably my favorite, especially the lower case. It's like a g, except backwards. :P
B - I'm sensing a theme with us writers, not once have I heard... "I have good handwriting!" LOL
Adam - Your's isn't bad at all! Thanks for sharing ;o)
Carol - I know I get tired of looking at mine too. I always write like I have someone standing over my shoulder; I have no idea why. LOL
Oh I just picked some randoms, Q is just fine ;o) I had no idea which letters to pick!! It is like a backwards g... hmm. Interesting.
