Hello there!
I hope everyone is doing well and having a good day!
Revising is going pretty well with my MS. I've gotten about halfway so far, however, there's a lot to change. Surprise... It's funny, after doing the book trailer, I got an idea for where the story should go - guess what? It's somewhere I haven't gone yet, so there's still a bit of work to be done, but I like the new idea ;o)
The fantastic Little Ms. J gave me the blogger buddie award! Isn't it cute? If you're not following her blog you're totally missing out, she has some of the most beautiful, profound posts I've ever seen. She's unique, interesting and funny.
So. I guess with this blogger award I'm supposed to list 5 things ya don't know about me... *thinking*- checks facebook, checks tweetdeck* okay, I'm going to pick some stuff that's not on my blog or website, so it should be all new... *ahem* get on with it you say... okay.
1. I've known 3 of my close friends since 6th grade. We don't see each other that often, but when we do, it's as if we never were apart. I miss them as I'm writing this sentence...
2. I had my marketing internship at a zoo. While there, I was on the radio twice and the "Today" show came to to do a small piece about the white tiger and puppy (how cute is that!). However, I was not featured on screen (intern and all) boy did they ever miss out... Ha.
3. I can't ride on buses. I had to when I was in high school show choir, but I hated it. I hate the movement, makes me feel all yucky in da tummy. I like flying though - short trips are better. I love to drive, but hate being a passenger, I drive everywhere, hubs has to read so he doesn't go all "backseat driver one me" without the reading, we'd be divorced for sure. Sorry got off point there for a sec. Moving on...
4. When any of my co-worker-friends (they're both) do something stupid, they say they "pulled an Erica." Yeah, folks. Believe it.
5. I say what's on my mind all the time. There is a filtering system, but it malfunctions almost every minute of the day - meet me in real life - and you'll see what I mean ;o)
Whew, that was actually harder than normal. I guess I'm running out of "cool" things to say about myself... so sad.
Anyhoo - I'm going to pass this along to a couple of my blogger buddies ;o)
Shauna over at Read~ Write~ Revamp~
Regan over at Regan Leigh
Sara over at The Babbling Flow of a Fledgling Scribbler
Karen over at Eternal Moonshine of the Daydreaming Mind
These are all fabulous blogs, folks. Nice people with a lot of interesting things to say ;o)
Anne over at Anne Riley, Reading.Writing.Querying.Publishing? bestowed upon me - The Creative Writing Award (the one where you get to lie - oh yeah!) Thanks so much Anne - definitely check out her blog - it's stupendous ;o) Since I received this one previously, I'll just link my answers to this post ;o) If you'd like to see my Vlog about my lies and truths you can find it Here.
Hope everyone is having a great week ;o)

I think that is the first time anyone has ever referred to my blog and used the word profound in the same sentence. I think I could cry.
Congrats on hitting the halfway point on your MS!
Funny post! I'm glad to read that someone is having a good go with their revising. Mine is kicking me in the teeth! But that's all right, it'll be worth it in the end.
This is so cute :-)
And love your facts. Especially "pulled an Erica" :P
Coongrats on the award! Thanks for the new links to check out as well :)
Great answers! Ibis gets carsick if he's not driving so I rarely drive with him in the car. I understand that bickering... :)
You're so sweet. Thanks for the cute award. I love the "pulled an Erica." I'd use it, but none of my friends would know what I was talking about.
Aw thanks!!
OMG the I pulled an Erica thing reminds me of Friends when Monica's parents used to say people pulled a Monica. Too funny!
My sisters and I do that to each other too. Like when one of us is being stubborn about something, we say we're pulling a Kelsey. (Poor thing, lol.) Or when we say something kinda thoughtless, we pulled a Liz. And I'm NOT sharing what they say about pulling a Sara ;-)
Aww...that IS a cute little award. Congrats!
Cute! I wonder what "pulled a Diane" would look like..... as long as it's not a finger to pull. :O)
Ms. J - I only speak the truth! I mean one of your posts almost had me in tears- you have a gift, pretty lady - thanks ;o)
Harley - Thank you! Oh don't let me fool you, mine's kicking my butt too, believe me! Good luck with yours, and yes it will be worth it ;o)
Dolly - Thank you! Yes, they are classic, my friend/co-workers... LOL
Jemi - Thank you! Yes, check them out - you won't be sorry ;o)
Mel - Thank you! Aw that sucks for him, I hate that, but luckily I love driving. yeah the bickering *sigh* married life eh?
Karen- You're welcome! LOL - You crack me up girl.
Sara - You're welcome! Oh yeah, that's hilarious - what was that she did? I can't remember... LOL
Oh hmmm - I bet to "pull a Sara" means you entertain them with fabulous book trailers ;o)
Jennifer - I know, it's so adorable... Oh thank you!
Diane - LOL - Oh I hope it's not that!! Ha
Pulled an Erica? That's funny! Maybe not to you, but I smiled. :) Congrats on the award.
Elana - I'm glad it made you smile ;o) Nah it's okay, I'm used to it, people have been saying stuff like that my whole life ;o) Thank you!
Too funny, Erica. :-) Cute.
I drive most of the time too - it started because we carpool to work and I used to drop hubby off first, but now he's just lazy. ;-)
Way to go with the revisions!
Oh, I hate riding on buses, too. When I used to teach and we had field trips I was always so queasy!
Had to laugh at the "Pulled an Erica." Wonder what you did to earn that!
Jamie - thanks! Yeah I love to drive, I think it's a control thing, good thing hubs don't mind ;o)
Melissa - Thank you! Aw that sucks, I hate that I get that way.
LOL - what have I not done... dropped stuff, ran into stuff, said the wrong thing... the list goes on ;o)
Congrats on the award.
Whew, am I glad I'm not the only one with a malfunctioning fliter system. ;)
Thanks Emily! Thank you! LOL - nice to know huh? ;o)
